CHARGEABLE REPAIRS??
When an estimate is given this may be subject to change after parts are fitted, as further faults may then be discovered. When an estimate is accepted a contract is entered into and payment will be required.?? Completed units that are not collected within 3 months may be disposed of and costs recovered from their sale. Any balance due will be subject to recovery.??
Guarantee – All chargeable repairs carry a 3-month guarantee for the parts replaced, this running from the date of completion.??
Payment – Accepted by cash/cheque/credit and debit card. Dishonoured payment invalidates any guarantee on any work carried out and will be subject to legal recovery.
All repairs must be paid for (or invoiced in the case of an account holder) upon collection or before release from Cornwall TV.
WARRANTY REPAIRS (Statutory Rights Not Affected)
We will need a valid proof of purchase, or in the case of extended warranty the schedule, before repairing any unit.
An additional cost to cover collection and return will apply unless covered by the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Damaged units and the replacement/cleaning of some parts are not covered by manufacturers warranties. When a unit is found to be damaged, not faulty or the symptoms due to operator error there will be an inspection and /or a collection and delivery charge.
When we do a repair for you under warranty, on behalf of a third party, please check their terms and conditions.
GENERAL
Disputes – the company will honour any decision given by TRADING STANDARDS in the event of any dispute that falls within their terms of reference.
Data Protection – Cornwall Television Services Ltd I collects your personal details (including your name, address, telephone number and/or e-mail address) principally to contact you and to process warranty claims. By providing your personal details you agree that we may pass these details to the relevant associates or business partners (including the manufacturer or its agent). Please be aware that your personal data may therefore be shared with or made available to entities outside of the European Union.
Rights – the company reserves the right to refuse to enter into contract with any customer for goods or services at its own discretion and without reason.
